This year’s fall mission for the Vincentian Marian youth took place in St. Louis city.
On October 30th through November 1st there were twenty-seven participants. The majority were from Ste. Genevieve and Perry Counties and from six different parishes.
We were blessed to have one Carmelite Sister and one Postulant, one Seminarian, and Father David Nations a Vocations Director in the Vincentian family as part of our formation and fun.
The theme this year was “Dead Zone-A Life Without God-Don’t Get Caught In It”.
Formation included Mass at midnight, adoration, confession and group discussion. For spiritual exercise we all were to look for Jesus or something that reminded us of His being during our service. We worked at the St. Vincent de Paul Society thrift stores in St. Louis, the new store in St. Charles and a local soup kitchen.
By the generosity and hospitality of the St Vincent de Paul society we were given lodging.
