Meet Sr. Jean Thomas Dwyer
What I love so much about being a Daughter of Charity is learning so much about confronting life's challenges from those I minister with and to; opportunities to work with and for those in need of life's basics: food, water, housing, health care that is accessible and affordable and a level of economic security which enables them to care for their families. I am energized in my ministry because I believe I am doing something to make life better for people, especially the marginalized and vulnerable, because they are my brothers and sisters in the Lord - they are my family. Other social justice issues that move me to action are environmental issues, especially water, energy and air quality as well as immigration reform.
Meet Sr. Juanita Chenevert I love being a Daughter of Charity because it give me the opportunity to be of service to others and to my Sisters. I feel blessed to be a part of an international community which has a great heritage of many canonized saints.
